An artist film work in progress, Seaing/Hereing explores sensory and emotional connections to my new home among the South West landscapes and seascapes from a neurodivergent perspective of heightened and altered audio-visual experience. The film in its final version will include a live sound performance in collaboration with musician/sound artist Sam Johnson. The work rediscovers relationships with nature, objects, and spaces, drawing from Merleau - Ponty's phenomenology, sensory contexts of neurodiversity, poetic and psychedelic cinema, and ideas around interconnectivity inspired by David Abram, Jeremy Lent, and Terrence McKenna.
